Wet Exhaust Hose (per foot)

This is the metal spiral wire reinforced hose. It is also used for critical bellow the water line(raw water) applications.
The spiral reinforcement is what allows this hose to make turns and not kink.
It is always surprising when you take a highest quality multi ply hose and it kinks once you try to make a turn.

One fact that we find working on old boats that have the wire reinforced hose – when the hose is really old, it still feels very rugged, but then you try to work with it and it snaps along the metal spiral. It seems that that steel wire, when really rusted, becomes a crack line for the hose to fail. But again this is the case for a very old hose. So even if the hose feels and looks solid beware of this behavior and replace old hoses.
