Chopped Strand Mat

Interesting detail: Mat has a light styrene binder that holds individual strands together. Technically, epoxy does not break down that binder to allow for complete resin saturation(you will see the lay-up stays a bit milky), therefore cannot be effectively used with the mat. On the other hand we see epoxy used all the time with chopped strand mat. You have to research your project.
